Sarah Shahi is an American actress best known for her performance in the television series "Life". Shahi was born to an Iranian mother and her Spanish father. Her diverse heritage has helped expand her perspective beyond geographical and religious beliefs. Shahi had a dream of being an actor from the time she was young. She began modeling when she was just 8 years old, but was soon able to take the leap. Sarah was in the middle of many dramas in her school, and later during college. Sarah started her film and TV career modestly. She featured in a number different guest roles in film and television shows before getting a leading role on TV sitcom. Shahi's success isn't solely based upon her ability as an actor. She's among the actors who are most loved by fans. Shahi has been named as 90 in the Maxim magazine 'Hot 100 of 2005' list, later increasing her position up to 66 in 2006 and 36 in 2012. She graced the cover of Maxim's 'TV's most beautiful Girls Issue' in their October 2012 edition. Also, she was ranked as number 5, on AfterEllen.com hot list in 2007.
